Veleta Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2023 Harvest
Distinctive Spanish EVOO made from the rare Lechin de Granada olives. Our Olive Oil is handmade at Dominio Buenavista in Ugijar, Granada, Spain. Our olive trees are hundreds of years old and must be hand picked never machine harvested. We harvest and are processed within 2 hours of harvest. Our olive oil is made in a clean, modern technique to assure the highest quality olive oil. Veleta EVOO is unfiltered and decanted one to two months before bottling. Sediment in the bottle is normal and does not detract from the quality of our oil.
Tasting notes: Smooth buttery sensations, with hints of herbs and mountain glass. Slight grip but no harsh notes and raspy qualities. Clean and fresh. An elegant Extra Virgin Olive Oil suitable for dipping alone or with herbs, base for all types of cooking, excellent replacement for butter on corn on the cob, baked potatoes, salad on in your favorite recipes.
Veleta Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
Introducing VELETA Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Our vinegar is obtained by the blending and consequent fermentation of concentrated grape must with aged wine vinegar. You will experience a rich, complex mildly sweet vinegar that explodes in the mouth with notes of figs, molasses, cherries, dark chocolate and prunes with a slight smoky aroma.
